Cross Gentian

Please note the white dots on all the plants. That's eggs of a butterfly Mountain Alcon Blue (Phengaris rebeli). When the larvae hatch from the eggs, they start to feed on the gentian plant, but soon let themselves drop to the ground. A certain species of ants takes them to their nest and feed the larvae of the butterfly and even prefer them to their own offspring.
