This is the first flower that opend from a plant I bought recently in a nursery. I is named "Perfume Passion" and I suppose it is a hybrid of Passlora alata and Passiflora caerulea. There are many named hybrids of this cross around, the oldest and most famous is P. x belotii "Empress Eugenie". The flower of this one is similar but very fragrant indeed. But though you can call the scent 'sweet', you can't compare it with roses or other flowers that have a really striking scent.
But the flowers are huge and a feast for the eyes rather than for the nose.
